205. Why You Can Prove Evolution False but Never True.

All “Scientific” theories are falsifiable. This means that anyone could propose a test of the theory to determine the accuracy of the theory. If the test contradicted or is incompatible with the theory, the test would show the theory to be false.  See Wikopedia Falsifiability.

I think you understand this but let us look at two examples:

  1. Consider my theoretical claim that I have an original copy of the Declaration of Independence.  You would want to test this claim.  If the ink could be traced back to and recognized by a national ink manufacture as their ink supplied to Bic pens, my claim would be false.  If you could not falsify my claim, it may still be true or false.   You can not prove my claim correct, you can only try to falsify it.  Does my claim fit reality?
  2. Consider my theoretical claim that there is no gold in Alaska.  You would want to test this claim by looking for gold.  If you found gold, my claim would be falsified by your test.  If you did not find gold or falsify my claim, it may still be true or false.  You can not prove my claim correct, you can only try to falsify it.  Does my claim fit reality?

If you have any questions about falsifing scientific theories and how may have bitten the dust see John Losee’s book Theories on the Scrap Heap.  Or

Is evolution a theory?  Consider the theory of evolution and all of its claims.  Does evolution claim fit reality?  How can we tell if evolution is true?  The answer turns out to be very easy… Find a false claim.

Now remember, you can not prove evolution is true.  You think it is because all of the evidence is convincing.  But all you have to do to prove evolution theory is false is show one hard example that evolution is wrong.  Again this is easier than it sounds.

Let me take just one claim (and there are many) that is fundamental to evolution.  The claim that natural selection and environmental conditions created new species.  Now this sounds good but the fact that we do not see any examples in nature other than the claim is insufficient to prove evolution’s claim.  We must compare the claim to a law of science.

So using the Law of Information – information that is coded with the purpose of being sent from a sender to a receiver must be created. A “information creator” has to create information.  While information does get deleted (like my hard drive) it does not just appear.

This is to say that natural selection and environmental conditions do not have the power, force, or intelligence to create DNA code in the cells of life.  Environmental conditions have the power to destroy DNA code via radio active particles for example.

An environmental condition such as a  tornado has the power to destroy a commercial air craft, but does not have the power to put one together.  A wrecking ball has the power to destroy a building, but not the power to build one.  A volcano has the power to cover a city but not the power to build a city.

I hope you get the picture here.  Only something with intent, purpose and power has the ability to build a commercial air craft, a building, a city, and the DNA cell construction code.

If you question my presentation, you can look at falsified theories at the Quora website or TopTenz website.  N ow remember, these were real, proven and accepted scientific theories!
