906. Law of Testing

Nothing works the way you planned it the first time.

Have you ever watched America’s Funniest Home Videos? If so, you have probably watched other funny videos. For hours of entertainment, go to YouTube or any video provider and search “COMPILATION”. If you have, you have seen how things go wrong because they just go wrong or the stunt was not tested.

We even test the videos to determine if they are real.

Humans test the following to get things right:

  • Cosmetics – we want cosmetics that are safe for our family but not cruel to animals. See NAVS commitment here.
  • Drugs – NIH admits that 95% of all drugs that are shown to be safe and effective in tests on animals fail in human trials because they don’t work or are dangerous. See PETA article here.
  • Rockets – look at all of the rocket test in WW II by German scientist and Iran missle testing more recent as documented in Wikipedia.
  • Software – Boeing 737 MAX is an example of failed software and British Airways’s IT glitch in August 2019 that caused 100 cancelations and 200 delayed flights.
  • Products – like the Ford Edsel and the Sony betamax.
  • And many other things like bullet proof glass, diamonds, musical instruments, trick (magic, cards, etc.) and your family car just for starters.

The point is that scientist, marketers, lawyers, chemist, engineers, and everyone else must test things or they are sure of failure. Nothing works the first time! How could any of evolutions’ life systems work the first time?

Well maybe there is something that has worked the first time, but I have not seen or heard of it. If so, it had to be well engineered and thought through extensively.

Is Evolution A Theory? Here is my question that may help with the answer: Do you know of any complex system that was just created without testing? I don’t. Then how can evolution just create a complex life system without testing? Surely the evolution system would have failed because it could not have tested and perfected itself.

How did evolution create any of the following by chance and with out testing it? Here are some examples:

  • A spider’s webbing strength and construction.
  • Blood with all of its ingredients.
  • Heart with all of its chamber size and valves.
  • A woman’s hormone system for creating a baby and producing milk.
  • A dog’s cooling system from over heating.

We could go on… Can you think of a complex life system that would have to be tested?
