Forget the Big Bang Theory

I am writing about the below science news article for two reasons:

  1. Science – To illustrate the over use of the word “theory”, when the proper word is ” hypothesis” or “hunch” (or SWAG).
  2. Religion – To point out that studying the big bang is not “science” but cosmology (and speculation).

As an engineer, I love science and how engineers apply it to our world trying to make it a better and more comfortable place to live.  I want to keep science, the study of our world, as pure as possible.

I want religion to stop using science to prove their belief.   Galileo and Newton did not like Catholics forcing their religion of the universe on them.  I don’t like Science Materialist forcing their religion of the universe on me.

Why am so passionate about science and love working on Is Evolution A Theory.com?  Two reasons:

  1. To help you understand Science – I think that if Cosmologist used a word rather than “theory” I would be OK.
  2. To help you understand Religion – I think that if Cosmologist understood the word NO-thing and recognized the inherent problem of SOME-thing coming out of NO-thing I would be OK.

Yes, if science and religion worked together to address Cosmology rather than excluding each other and  addressed the Cosmo issues truthfully, I would be OK.

Here is the article:

Forget the Big Bang theory – the universe ‘THAWED’ from a long, deep freeze, claims physicist

Our existence didn’t come as a result of a glorious bang, but instead of a long, cold transformation, according to a new theory.

The theory contradicts the most popular concept of our universe’s beginning, which suggestsit started with the Big Bang, and has been expanding ever since.

The Big Bang model suggests the universe began from what is known as a ‘singularity’, or a point of infinite density at which physical laws break down.

The latest theory contradicts the most popular concept of the universe which suggests the world started with a Big Bang, and has been expanding ever since. But Christof Wetterich, a theoretical physicist at Heidelberg University in Germany, claims this Big Bang never happened. Instead, the universe started as an empty and cold void, slowly emerging from a deep freeze.
