I came across a wonderful quote that I want to share with readers of Is Evolution A Theory. It relates to all myths in all areas.
“The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie–deliberate, contrived and dishonest–but the myth–persistent, persuasive and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

The reason I find this quote so interesting is because i t is applicable to the Evolution vs. Creation debate. While President Kennedy said “Mythology distracts us everywhere…” and he went on to talk about myth in our national economy, he hit on the truth. And it applies to the Myth of Evolution.
I have dedicated this website to the myth of evolution and proving the answer to the question, Is Evolution a Theory? I do this by asking my readers one question – Can a theory be true if it is incompatible with other theories and laws of nature?
