I just finished reading an article about solving climate change and global warming. Setting aside whether you believe the climate is changing because of global warming or not, here is something that can help our planet.
The beauty of solving the global warming debate is to agree on this simple solution. Plant one trillion trees. That is right.
The article, “Best way to fight climate change? Plant a trillion trees” from Phys.org writes as follows:
“The most effective way to fight global warming is to plant lots of trees, a study says. A trillion of them, maybe more.”
But you may be wondering, like I did, do we have the room? Well here is the answer from the same article (click here):
“And there’s enough room, Swiss scientists say. Even with existing cities and farmland, there’s enough space for new trees to cover 3.5 million square miles (9 million square kilometers).”
Again, we find that science can solve our technical problems. If only politics and special interest will get out of the way.
