Progressive Prosecutors and the Law of Cause and Effect

The Law of Cause and Effect is active in everything we do; both scientifically and socially.

If you have followed the news on smash and grab robberies, you have noticed that the old “criminal system” is changing quickly. This is the “Effect” portion of the Law of Causality. So, what is the “Cause”?

The “Cause” portion of the Law of Causality seems to be that there is a new type of prosecutor in power. This is evident in Epoch Times article entitled, “Progressive District Attorneys Radically Change Rule of Law in California Cities” and the Guardian‘s article entitled, “The progressive prosecutors blazing a new path for the US justice system.” The “Cause” seems to be the “progressive prosecutor”.

But will the new progressive prosecutors’ approach bring about meaningful change? According to an article entitled, “The False Hope of the Progressive-Prosecutor Movement” in The Atlantic, the goal or purpose of the new prosecution system mindset is as follows:

These so-called progressive prosecutors promise to end mass incarceration and bring fairness to the criminal legal system—by doing things such as declining to prosecute certain low-level offenses, expanding diversion programs, and replacing hard-line assistants with reform-minded outsiders.

The goals of the progressive prosecutors policies are: “reducing mass incarceration; keeping out of the system individuals who are driven to commit crime because they lack resources; ending harsh sentencing practices and wrongful convictions obtained through prosecutorial misconduct and other unethical practices; and eliminating racial disparities at all stages of the criminal legal process.” While the goals are worthy, can it be done?

From the news, the “Effect” we see from the change of prosecution actions and policies is heighten crime. Is the threat to businesses and public safety a tolerable “Effect” to this new progressive policy to handle crime?

While there is much debate and many pro vs. con facts about the worthiness and success of the progressive prosecution theory, San Francisco mayor is changing direction. She seems to understand the Law of Cause and Effect. She wants a different Effect so she is going back to change the Cause. From a defund the police Cause to a tough on crime Cause in hope of getting a different Effect.

According to an article entitled, “SF Mayor London Breed Announces Crime Crackdown; ‘Less Tolerant Of All The Bulls–t That Has Destroyed Our City’” at KPIX Channel 5 in San Francisco, “Mayor Breed’s anger and frustration over the crime surge in the city were on full display at her noon news conference.

The article goes on quoting the San Francisco mayor, “And it comes to an end when we take the steps to more aggressive with law enforcement. More aggressive with the changes in our policies and less tolerate of all the bullshit that has destroyed our city.

Is Evolution A Theory? We have an answer for you but the point of this blog article is to demonstrate the Law of Cause and Effect in operation of this social issue. Without having much knowledge on the criminal system, we see that it follows the Law of Causality.

It seems that the Effect of rising crime is Caused by not holding criminals accountable for their crimes.

Is natural selection a powerful enough Cause to see the Effect of cold blooded, 3 chamber hearted, thick skinned reptiles to change into warm blooded 4 chamber hearted, feathered bird?

So, after reading this blog post, you may be asking, Is Evolution A Theory? The answer is simple, it cannot be a valid theory because it is incompatible with the Laws of Nature. Go to our Start Here page and begin examining the scientific evidence on why the theory of evolution is failed and should be rejected as a scientific theory.
