An article from Science Daily entitled, “What makes us human? The answer may be found in overlooked DNA” writes about a DNA study from stem cell researchers at Lund University, Sweden. The study was published in the journal Cell Stem Cell.
Researchers found an overlooked part of human DNA. This “non-coded DNA” appears to contribute to the different workings between human and chimpanzee brains. The article makes a statement that does not align with the Laws of Nature. Below is a quote from the article:
The chimpanzee is our closest living relative in evolutionary terms and research suggests our kinship derives from a common ancestor. About five to six million years ago, our evolutionary paths separated, leading to the chimpanzee of today, and Homo Sapiens, humankind in the 21st century.
Let us look at: “Our evolutionary paths separate, …” Have you ever wondered how this occurred? What caused this effect (see Law of Cause and Effect)? Evolutionist explain the different ways that this “path separation” can occur (see Biological Principle). The problem for evolutionist is that none of these paths explain the change or upgrade in DNA information. Evolutionist claim that natural selection, genetic drift, etc. can change a chimp brain into a human brain. This claim is not compatible with the Law of Information.
What the stem cell researchers did was compatible with the Law of Information and the Law of Cause and Effect. Read this quote from the article:
“Instead of studying living humans and chimpanzees, we used stem cells grown in a lab. The stem cells were reprogrammed from skin cells by our partners in Germany, the USA and Japan. Then we examined the stem cells that we had developed into brain cells,” explains Johan Jakobsson, professor of neuroscience at Lund University, who led the study.
Did you notice who did the reprograming? The stem cells were reprogramed by partners in different countries. This work is totally compatible with the Laws of Nature. What is NOT compatible with the Laws of Nature is the Theory of Evolution as demonstrated on this Is Evolution A Theory website.
